Dole Plantation

It’s true it does not sound very adventurous. But I say adventure can take on the face of many things. In the case of the Dole Plantation, located in the center of the island of O’ahu, the adventure is in all the amazing pineapple treats you can get as well as the tour of the plantation, which is huge.

To say I went looking for the Dole Plantation would not be true to my nature. I literally had no idea this place existed until I saw it up ahead while driving towards the North Shore on interstate 1. I am a huge fan of the succulently sweet flavor of the pineapple and immediately wanted to stop. How could I resist?

When you are on the Dole Plantation you have the ability to explore a maze in the pineapple groves, get a ticket to ride the Pineapple Express and check out the massive koi pond. I dont know what I imagined a pineapple farm would look like until I landed here. Be sure to step inside the gift shop and indulge in some of the best pineapple grill you will ever have.
